Default What is is about Silent Hunter and RAID drives?

Just like my SH3 install which made a mess of itself and still won't allow me access to any of the files (so I can't run, delete, uninstall or even view any of the 1.gawd knows GB of SH3), now SH4 is doing exactly the same thing.

Tried to put in the 180 degree plotter tool (thanks for making that one) and the files are invisible in the game, and impossible to rename or remove. So I can't even put back the backed up original files even!

This bloody game is making me more and more angry the more I try to interact with it, either in game or in standard everyday file manipulation.

What does Ubisoft do with the SH series that makes it (and only it) a total waste of my hard disk space thanks to useless files that I now can't delete or rename)?

If this sort of file behaviour was available in freeware products, the world would shout VIRUS in a huge hurry!
