Default Saving A Career In SHIV

How do you save a career in SHIV? I can't seem to figure it out. I started my first career in Manila in the Philippines. After completing my assignments and sinking some 66,000 tons of shipping it was time to return to base. With Manila being captured by the Japanese, I was forced to head for Surabaya, on the Island of Java. When I arrived I got that popup screen asking me what I wanted to do. The choices are Refit, End Patrol or Postpone. I choose End Patrol. I don't see any options to save the career I started. How is it accomplished, and then how do you restart the next patrol. The manual is really much help when it comes to saving a career. Any help would be appreciated.

One thing I forgot to add to the above is when I actually am at the start of the second mission, I checked to see if the torpedoes were loaded, and not a one was in the tubes or in the reserve lockers. What gives.

It's all done in the career screen you get when not on missions. Should look like an office.

There's various things in the room you mouse over and click on to save, load, go on new mission, etc.

Save is book on left, can also be done when at see in ESC menu.

Picture of crew on desk is initially for hiring crew but there's tabs that let you "buy" reloads and equipment with rep as well.

To be specific, the save/load in the office is books on the shelf on the left of the screen.

Thanks for the help, akochan. This problem with the torpedoes seems like a bug to me though. I think it needs a fix for it.
