I get the feeling the KGV class cant actualy be destroyed in this game :hmm:

I doubt a KG V could survive very long against Yamato. I think it might take 3 of them to be sure of putting Yamato down.

Although its a little silly, it would be like most capital ship actions and be dependent on who got a lucky shot to a vital area (Magazine, Fire control, powerplant etc) first.

And given the close range, it would be anyones game...

Default Dangerous Game

The Yamato was very well built, lasted some time in battle and held its own. Unfortunately like the Bismark, all with the fishes.

I wonder if aircraft wasn't around, things would have been a lot different.

For instance, HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse may still be around.
