No firing soloution in Career Mode?!

Ok, this IS a problem. I ffire up my first career and when targetting ships I get no firing solution at all. I get no line coming from my sub showing me where the torp will hit, nothing. I can still fire torps but only in a straight line.

I didn't have this problem in Sub School. Everything worked fine there.

How the hell did you manage to fire in a straight line? I did this primarily in SH3 and I'm quite good in it. Now in Sh4, I simply cannot fire a torpedo in a straight line. Even without entering a single data and firing at a standing ship from 300yards, my torpedo manages to run a wide curve around the target.

I still have the problem, but only in career mode.
