Default Post-Processing Filter On.....and Off (compared)

Could this be why a lot of people are seeing wierd colors/graphics -extra jaggies?

SHIV needs a higher resolution, I think many will agree (FSAA or not), but with the Post-Processing FIlter "On", the game just looks sort of wierd......of course, it looks sort of wierd with it off.

Here are some comparitive pics:

Filter OFF

Filter OFF

Now, with filter on (notice how much the "jaggies" and colors seem to go all wierd?

Filter ON

Filter ON

Is it just me, or does the Filter OFF have better looking objects, but Filter ON has a better looking environment?

Also, the jaggies seem to be slightly toned down with the Post-Processing Filter OFF.

Your thoughts?

Yeah, seen that in other pics too, the Hollywood Effect makes ships and boats look really dark almost like its afternoon in the middle of the day, while the ocean looks great.

Yep, not to mention, in all of the pics the sun was almost directly above me.

Where's the sunlight on the deck?

I have my game settings set to 1600x1200x32 (85hz).

All graphics maxed (excpet where I was showing the games with the Post-Processing Filter OFF, obviously).

Heck, the first pic almost looks like it has FSAA applied sometimes (of course it doesn't though...I have it set to 16x in my videocard settings...and that ain't 16x FSAA. lol)

Hey, Ark, are you experiencing stutters? I read on a Norwegian site that some guy with similar spect to yours experienced stutters that were not fps-related. So, do you?

Yes, they aren't too noticable...but they do exist, and they seem to come at the same interval which is annoying.

It's wierd, the game runs buttery smooth with all settings maxed....but that darn micro-stutter (as I like to refer to it) is present.

It looks just like that in-game as well. That's why I originally took the pic.
