Default SH4 ! Too hard to learn ??

Hello,

i saw the SH4 attack video on youtube, and now i´m worried.
The controls are somewhat different from SH3 - It looks very difficult.
Very confusing.... Maybe cause i didnt have speakers on, but i didnt understand S#!-

Well, basically, is it really ??

Ah, good timing! I am about to post a new vid using the easier realism options. I think it will answer your questions, mate.

I woudlnt say difficult.. just different. The main thing is, German and American TDC's worked differently and the control layout is different.

The fundamentals however, im quite sure remain unchanged.

I can't wait to see the new video Neal. The first one was great but too difficult for a nub like me right now. I love the challenge of these games but I have to work my way up to it.

Well it better be harder than SH3 on full switch - I stopped for lunch one day and my pet canary had already bagged another 50K ton and completed the patrol.

Here you go, guys.

This is on easy mode. I think this the way to learn, and the game is still lots of fun.

When I started, I missed SH3 almost right away, then tried again on easier options and had a lot of fun.

Neal is right, it just takes some getting used to.

Took me about an hour of 'training' to get the hang of the controls and changes, TDC and all (although that one will need a bit more practice to be more effective)...

Neal is the ruler range bug fixed or do you still have to add 50 meters on every reading? I made my observations and speed calculations in SH3 using an overlay slide rule thingy that a mod added. Now its missing in SH4 so I need to do the old "3 minutes and 15 seconds" trick. Except Im not sure if the last 15 secs are needed if the ruler is precise now.

Im at a complete loss with the position keeper. What on earth is that supposed to do?
