Default VII boat torpedo loading bug?

Hi there! I've read other posts about the torpedo loading problem already, so I do not expect a fix But maybe someone has an new idea! The situation: Expended all internal and external torpedos, expect one external stern torpedo. The external torpedo was moved in the internal store manually (auto is off) then i tried immediately moving the torpedo to the stern tube, which does not work. I also do not get the message (ballon help when holding the mouse over the torpedo) that i do not have enough man). When trying to move it just jumps back. There enough men available. (some exhausted, but the green bars are fully filled). I tried moving men in and out, and into front and stern tubes. Also tried the silent running enable and disable. Now iam out of ideas. Also tried to leave the thing on auto.... Stock sh3 1.4b plus damage mode, traffic mod, radio mod , torpedo gfx mods, flag mod, moose measure mod....

Once I had the same experience you described. Switched back to auto and torpedo loaded. Never happened again.

Maybe you should wait for the torpedo to be transferred from the external store to internal first, then try reloading the tube?

You might try having BOTH the stern torp room and bow torp room manned. That's what works for me in my Type IXC. When I had my Type VIIB I used Auto Loading only, but since getting a Type IXC I'm using manual loading I have encountered this all the time, and manning both torpedo rooms has worked for me. I'm not really sure if it has anything to do with having the Auto Loading unchecked but I thought I'd mention it since it was mentioned that it may be the issue.

Hope that helps

Sometimes, for whatever reason the tube doors remain open after firing a torpedo, this prevents you from reloading. Try to close the tube manualy (W button) and reload.
