Default I have a few questions PLEASE for those that already have the game

I have few questions PLEASE for those that already have the SH4 (legally):

1. How long are the sub equipment repair times? In SH3, the repair times were almost always 1-2 minutes. I hope they are much longer in SH4.

2. Can the enemy escorts detect your sub while sitting on the seabed floor?

3. Does your boat take collision damage while resting on the seabed floor (not moving) at higher time compression?

4. When a single sub compartment completely fills up with water due to flooding, is there an instant game over death screen like in SH3, or does the game continue?

Thank you to everyone for any of these answers you can provide for us that don't have the game yet.

If they got the game, my best bet is that it is pirated. Although I'm not sure for a fact, considering the fact no one besides one person has posted their impressions about the game on the forum I would presume it was pirated. On the other hand, it could be some guy posting rare screen shots of ingame footage trying to stir this forum board up.

Shipshape posted pics of the packaging and whatnot along with all the manuals (as seen above).

Despite what Ubisoft tells people, apparently their worldwide release information was a little "windy".

I think people here are running around blaming pirated software for the early SH4 release. Well, it appears that several players here have legal copies that were legally purchased. If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at Ubisoft for screwing up the release dates.

Now back on topic. Can any players who have a legal copy of the game please answer my questions from the first post?

Default AA or not!!

There is no AA switch in the games graphics option, but at 1920*1440 4:3 60 Hz it looks OK! IŽve tried forcing AA from the ATI panel, with some graphics fault at the sky.

IŽll be back with answers to the other Q.

Shipshape.

Thanks Shipshape. The reason I asked these questions is because in SH3 these problems could not be fixed through mods because they were hard-coded. Looking forward to your answers.

Thanks.

But the question is, does AA really work when it is forced in the driver? So, does it work for you? The graphic faults are another question.

I will not support games that not support AA. We are in the year 2007. And I dont have a powerful machine to look at those ugly jaggies. Nice for the people who can have a res. like you. But I only have a 17" TFT with max. 1280x1024. So AA is a must have for me!

This is mildly disturbing... I hope we can formulate a good cross-section of folks with differing hardware to evaluate the AA situation. Right now it isn't looking good. Pun partially intended.
