Default Anyone tried Austrialian ports?

Is there any traffic in any of the Aussie ports? Worth going there?

I believe Ducimus has. Said there is activity there.

If you are using GWX then yes there is. It would be a bit remiss of the Devs if they didn't include alive ports in OZ. At the very least JScones would have something to say about it.

There is a fair amount of traffic around Australian ports but the waters are too shallow, and the whole adventure can be really dangerous in late 1944-45

Ah yes, been meaning to talk to you about that - I would like to revisit the Indian at some point and fully implement the Australian Convoy System...and add cruisers...

Just came back from a very successful Feb. 1944 sortie in Darwin harbour. 36,000 tons and not a scratch! I was even able to reload the external torpedoes in an inlet about 80 kms away, then come back to finish the job. I'm going to check out Fremantle and Albany next sortie.

I'm only in an IXC/40 (not enough renown yet for a IXD2) so Melbourne and Sydney are unfortunately out of the question. Pity for two reasons:
1. I'd love to bring my boat through Port Phillip Heads and get a screenshot!
2. I'd love to have a crack at Sydney Harbour - in fact, any crack at Sydney... GO THE STORM!

(For our overseas Kaleuns, "The Storm" is the Melbourne Storm rugby league team, which last night defeated one of the Sydney sides, Wests Tigers, 18-16! )
