Default switching/assigning keys

Hi all , I looked through the threads and couldn't find anything on this. My esc key is not working , I've verified with a borrowed keyboard. Is there a way to assign the save/exit command to another key? Or a way to do this on board the sub, command room , somewhere? I hate to get another board for one key, Thanks to all for any help.

To the best of my knowledge its kinda hard wired to ESC however like everything else in SH3 it can be played with.

Yep, did a quick skim of the keys file and neither esc or the page it brings up are refered to that i noticed. That is odd though, maybe you dont have the keyboard set to the right region, or some other regional configuration is messing it up.

Default more info

A little more info on this. Past several years it has worked fine , then one day I went to save and the menue didn't come up, I had to end program by windows task manager. I tried again the following day and had the same result. I took home a board from work and in game switched boards and esc worked, switched back to my board and esc not working. I did this several times with the same result. Once again thanks to all.
