Default 1.4b update fail!!!help

Hello everyone. I have a legit purchased copy of SH3. i rescently messed up some of the files and did a complete uninstall and reinstall. before the uninstall i was using greywolves expansion. now i have reinstalled with no problems. i click on the 1.4b update and it gives me this msg

programs files/ubisoft/silenthunter3/data/menu/en_help.txt: unknown version.

How am i suppose to update now???
Like i said i DO have a complete store bought fully legal version. Could it be a left over from greywolves exp. although i did a full uninstall.

Try to delete the file en_help.txt(Or move it in a separate folder;just make sure it isnt there). You will probably get two more error messages afterwards, about some files in the menu folder. Do the same, move those away in a separate folder. Then try to patch.

This is the only game, that I'm aware of, that requires complete uninstall of EVERYTHING so to reinstall. Very odd:hmm:
