Default upset at Goering's fly boys!

first go at gwx and 1.02 patch. Sailed from Kiel to patrol off Harwich.

Patrolling on the surface, my watch officer sings out that he'd spotted a ship.

about 8k off - V&W destroyer. Just about to dive when I spot a Me110 heading straight for it. First one I'd seen. Wait with anticipation.

It flies around the DD then disappears!

Wait, another one. Heading straight at it. Here we go. Bang, Bang, your dead!

No. It also flies around and goes. Curses.

Oh dear! By this time I realise the destroyer is heading straight for me at 23 knots!

I dive to periscope depth (with about 20metres under me) line up a torpedo and fire at about 900m. Misses! the cheating destroyer dodged!

Try another. No good. Down I go, scraping bottom. He dumps depth charges. Guess who gets to play DiD!

When I start a new career, I'm going to write a nasty note to Goering!
