Interactive custom emblems project...

Ahoy there,

Due to my misbehaving lately i decided to rehabilitate myself by running this small project.

I assume that most of you know what coats of arms are and i will not discuss it here. Nevertheless these are the subject of task i'm undertaking and that is to research and find precisely coats of arms of the towns or cities you Kaleuns live in and transforming them into custom made side emblems. If you were looking for this kind of decoration of your u-boat's conning tower than seek no further, this is it... i hope.

I admit that i am a bit of a history freak. I've been doing a research on my family tree and it's coat of arms for some time now and that's how i got hooked on genealogy and heraldry, fascinating stuff! So i've got a little experience in digging of that part of "allotment" called history.

All side emblems will be processed through IrfanView v3.95 to a 64x64x24 BPP images with .tga extension as in the stock game.

So all you Kaleuns out there who want to have one of those custom emblems, you can order it now, all you need to do is to write the name of the city/town, then state or voivodship and the country it's in. That's it. Although many places do not have their coat of arms as we know it by definition. In this instance they will be replaced with a seal or a flag.

I'm taking all orders untill midnight GMT 4th Feb 2007, so hurry up. This offer is free of charge to all interested, of course.

Mind that it's entirely up to you if you disclose the name of the place you live in. I will not use this information for any other purpose than stated above (many of you disclose it in your forum profile anyway). That's why i offered research in towns' and cities' coats of arms instead of surnames which would be more interesting and a lot harder to achieve. But this kind of information is to personal and i do not want to have the knowledge of it.
