IXD Sonar Error?

I was cruising around in my IXD shortly after getting some upgrades. I hop into external view to enjoy watching my boat roll in the sea. I slide under to view the lower half of the hull and I saw an aweful picture. The sonar that connects to the underside of the hull along the keel does not match up with the boat. There are big gaps in it from the hull, now I know it didn't look like this before, as I usually sail in the big boats and am always running with external active. So I was just wondering if my system has gone freaky on me since GWX or if this might be a minor eye-candy future correction? I would post a picture but I don't really have a clue how to do that.
