Purchase SHIII: Retail Versions?

I would like to purchase SH3 at amazon throught the link on this site. I'm confused about the retail versions available. The SH3 available are described as "import versions". Im not sure what that means?? I live in the US. The game also seems to be available as DVD or CD. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

If I remember correctly the version differences are the appearance or lack-of the Nazi swastika, does it show you a US retail version?

Over here in The Netherlands I still find copies in the sales bin, of most software sellers. If I where you I would just go visit severla stores.
