Flower Class blew itself up

I am not sure if anyone has experenced this before, but I was going through the channel , and I got spotted by a dear old torpedo boat. So I dive to 30 metres, and drop it to 2 kts. Of course the whole Royal Navy turns up, but by that time I'm gone. However, they still strated depth charging the place that I was , and in the process I watched a Flower Class drop a depth charge, which seems to hit the stern or something, and it went skyhigh. I will post a few pics, when I work it out.

Anyone else had a ship misfire?

i dont know it with depthcharches, but i had once also a weird thing:
i was just surfaced and chasing a convoy suddenly a destroyer turns up and i do a crashdive. when it was quiet for a while i get back to periscope depth and raise my periscope. i didnt realise he was very close( i didnt had the hydrophone manned) and he just scratches my periscope, the ships blows and sinks!

Like to know what that DD is
Had 2 in recent patrols that scaped my coning tower as they went over me
All I got were some very shallow depth charges and serious damage

I just had an unusual incident involving a C&D Class Destroyer too.

I was cruising around at 256tc, submerged at periscope depth between the Shetland Islands and Aberdean in my type IIA in 1939. I suddenly get "warship detected close range" from the hydrophone operator. I switched to the nav map and there he was, right on me! Then there I heard explosions so I went to external camera to see what was going on and found the C&D about 500m in front of me at a 90 AOB. The explosions appeared like DC explosions about 100m behind my sub. I think this was some kind of TC mess up because there's no way he could have circled around that fast.

Anyway, I had a perfect torpedo shot and as the water was too shallow to allow me a good chance to escape I gave the C&D both barrels. The fish were set to impact trigger running 1.5m metres deep. When the first fish hit it blew the destroyer out of the water and broke its back. I didn't notice the second explosion so the second fish either missed or ran beneath the ship when it was momentarily out of the water.

Anyway, it was the most violent explosion I've ever seen in the game and it just didn't quite seem "right".

"Stock" SH3 has all kinds of little goodies with it. Sometimes you even get credit for the "kill".

I started my second career with 2d flotila so I can use type VII boat. On my second patrol, on my way home SO reported a sound contatc bearing 270 deg. It was a stormy night and I was east of scapa flo. I chased the ship, ahead flank and finally got a long range visual report from WO. A tanker. I wanted to intercept the ship so I sailed ahead (ahead flank) to intercept it about 10 km away. I waited for the tanker, but it never arrived. I lost contact and the map showed a sunk ship in green, I guess the ship had been capsized.

Later that night, still on the same patrol and same weather condition I chased and waited to intercept another ship, a small merchant. This ship also didn't arrive. Again, the map showed a sunk ship in green. I guess the storm capsized the ship.
