The Deck gun vanishes.....

Hi Guys,

I'm using GWX and it's May 43; having put into port and gone for my next mission I noticed that my deck gun has gone! Is this because they were removed in real life or have I got a problem; and is it possible to re-acquire the deck gun on my next trip to port as an upgrade?
I was rather fond of it...:p

What year is ??? are you using sh3 commander ?

i remember that at some year, deck gun were removed of u-boats because was too dangerous do surface attacks.
Only a few skippers were able to maintain his guns mounted.

or someone has stolen your gun while you are in port:rotfl:
bernard change it for rum bottles...

There is a feature in SH3Cmdr to remove the deck gun....when your back in port go to the sub equipment section and add it again

I think later versions of U-Boats did not have the deck gun installed. Try to see if you can enable it via SH3Cmd as Jim suggested

1943 and the vast majority of DG were removed
No point having them
The merchants are all armed to the teeth
Aircover increasing and with Radar you were a sitting duck
