clean installation

hey, i was just wondering if you can make a "clean" installation of SH3 if you already have SH3 installed

i cant just copy it over into another folder since ive got GWX installed

or can i just install the new mod (NYGM) over GWX ?

If you mean, multiple installations, it is possible, I don't know how my self but there are other threads in here giving instructions. I think it's a question of placing the fresh install into a renamed folder.

Very simple really
Rename the SilentHunterIII folder to something else - say - GWX
Whack your DVD in the drive
Hit install
Then hit repair and you will get a new install

Once you have that you need to patch to 1.4 then you can copy and paste that virgin install as many times as you like to get as many new ones as you want
