Did my first patrol today under GWX. Sept 1,1939 in a type 2 after 2 days of patroling my assigned sector and no sightings of enemy ships. so I consoled the crew by torpedoing a norwegien merchant 5 torpedos one explosion ...oh well

I know the BDU says "Be more aggressive" but 5 torps on one target thats overkill

Yeah just wasted 4 on an AMM in heavy fog and 14 mtr winds
Got the sucker in the end though lol

Mind you 2 of them were prem detonations due to the weather

ehhh....well I was on my way back to port had 25% fuel left and 900 KM from home I figured what they hey I could just blame the magnetic pistol malfunction thing.
