The Red Triangle, now used for a 'hot topic' in the blue version of this forum, originates from the Silent Hunter series, where it was used to indicate a target when viewed through the periscope or UZO.

Back in SH2 it wasn't optional. Modders spent years trying to get rid of it. When we first saw it in early SH3 shots, everyone said "NOOOOOOO!!!". Imagine how happy we were when we found it was only on the easy levels.

Yes a upside down triangle in SH3 colour now yellow which is less of a well you decide, as Steve pointed out only on the easy levels. Will SH4 have one? My bet on the colour will be blue.
