GWX is remarkable by any standards but oh how I miss that yellow ring marker. You know, the one marking your position when you were at periscope depth. I know it wasn't realistic (having written a couple of books about U boat warfare around the UK) but it was doing no harm, showing me where I was and which direction I was pointing in. Any way of getting it back ?
kind regards |

There's a "fix" somewhere on the forum for that...although it was for TGW, not GWX.
Use dead reckoning from your pos...or if you have a fix on a ship, press the "." ship's view camera...although it won't give you a position...just a visual of what you're getting into. |

The Umark tga is exactly the same from stock - meaning the GW fix will work
You just need to replace it |

If you have the Stock Version as well loaded, go into the data\misc folder, copy the Umark.tga file into the same in GWX and this will fix it. I saw this post on another thread, went to download but the file was deleted from the site.
