I'll gonna give GWX a try just for the new damage model. I am a little concerned about my machine handling the better graphics, and improved escort AI is a little worrying, but I am not a fan of the GW1.1 damage model. ( no disrespect to whomever worked on it)

While your torps might be more effective, just look out for the kick in the pants from the escorts. It seems that even if you can't see the NME, he can sometimes "see" you, and give you a good shelling from a long distance.

The Damage Model in GWX is absolutelly brilliant. It's totally new and you will love it. Just take your boat for a quick ride along the english coast and see how the model works. I'm sure you will be very impressed
