Default Grey Wolves Super Mod-GWX MOD Q

I just uninstalled SHIII, reinstalled, added 1.4 patch and loaded Grey Wolves Super Mod. When GWX Mod comes out, will I be able to just download it and install on top of what I have now .

Sorry mate. You need a fresh install. Vanilla SH3 + 1.4b + GWX and then SH3Cmdr or whatever else you like.

No, need a clean install again. But, look around any stores that resell games or you can even get it new for great prices.

On that note, I take it GWX requires the start of a new career?

Uninstall Grey Wolves, finish all existing (not yet resolved) careers. OR you will crash your game

I've done everything you guys have listed.
MY Boats in the refit pens awaiting the new Expanded modifications from The Grey Wolves. As soon as the mods are on-board, she will be ready for sea, with a green crew and experienced skipper. The crew is betting the new mods will arrive on Friday the 15th. Maybe I should give them one more day to spend what little script they have left.
Just what I need, a drunken crew on her first day out for sea trials. Will we survive?

Default Oh NOOOOO!

I hope you guys are wrong about having to do a complete new install!

I have never gotten past 1940 yet. I keep getting new mods and starting over. I have purposely halted play, subs in pens, awaiting GWX so I can continue once and for all.

Now I suppose SH4 will come out before I get to 1941 and I will be drawn away...

I sincerely hope your not being serious here :hmm:

GWX is 'standalone' and not comatible with GW

You WILL need a fresh install of SH3 patched to 1.4b

Yep you do need a new fresh install of SH3 otherwise you cannot even install GWX. The installer is too clever and won't let you do it

In any case some of the older mods like skins and stuff might have problems with GWX as they use a different way of packing the files. I'm sure though that most skins will be reworked to give maximum GWX experience.
