Default Looping sounds with TGW 1.1a..is this fixed in GW X?

I love 1.1a ..... but one annoying problem that I dont know if others experience. I get A LOT of looping hull creaks. Especially if I dive deep...then hit time compression at the wrong time.

Anyone else get these?

I get these but I do not think it has to do with 1.1a. I had added the atmosphere mod long before GW came on the scene and experienced this phenom. It believe it has to do with sound card acceleration that can be turned down. I get it once in a while but it does not bother me.

This is an old, old bug, I understand. The only sound bug I have ever experienced is when I alt+tab out of the game, and go back. Then I often have boat sounds even on the nav map. (And howling wind inside the sub if the weather is bad, etc)

I have no other mods other than TGW and SH3Commander running with SH Weather.

My sound acceleration is at Standard according to DxDiag.... I also havent Alt-Tabed out of the game.

Oh well....hope GWx dont do this.... it may also be my soundcard/or drivers. My driver is dated 12/8/2005 (Audigy 2) ver 5.12.8.1164. I checked about 6 months ago and creative didnt have any updated drivers.

I used to have to turn down my acceleration but with GWX beta, I've returned it to full and haven't noticed anything out of line except what Stabiz mentioned.

Jury is still out on these latest Audigy2zs drivers! (IMO)
Since a fresh OS install after 2 1/2 years on the last, I've had 2 screeching halts in SH3 due to audio, and the most likely cause is these drivers.
If it happens again, I'm going to go back to original install disk drivers, and see what happens.

I use Audigy SE and have had no such problems. (Latest drivers)
