GWX is starting to remind me of Forgotten Hope

I guess whoever's played the Battlefield 1942 mod' Forgotten Hope can relate. For the rest of you, it's a monster of an FPS reality mod' with roughly sixty maps, a large selection of nations, and a horde of different vehicles. My point is that the sheer size of the mod' gives you this feeling that you'll never play through it all. Even if I spent only half an hour on each map, I'd still need thirty hours straight of playing the game before I'd experienced every map, and let's not forget that 30 minutes doesn't do more than give you a brief first impression.

Anyone feel this way with Grey Wolves Expansion? Personally, I've not even half-way explored Grey Wolves 1,1a yet. I suppose I'll have to wait until retirement (in fourty years or so) to finally get enough spare time to sit down and fully explore GWX.
Corsair is also worried, I see. What about the rest of you?

Beleive me its a nightmare
Still testing last additions as I write

On friday night I ran 35 patrols starting in 39 and transferring after 3 patrols to a new flotilla
The only times I left port were when base was changed in patrol
The rest of the time I started a patrol and reversed into dock then drove forward into dock to take damage and extend time in base
Just to get my 60 days in Flotilla so could transfer after 3 patrols

Not exactly a fun night but the only way to test all bases and transfers for a final time

Roll on release in * days time

I fully understand your sentiments mate
But the one thing I constantly keep reminding myself is that the Kpt. and dev team must have sacrificed so much of their time and effort (BBW post being just one example) that this mammoth expansion has got to be well worth the wait and the resulting timescales that will obviously be involved in covering all the different theatres should be well worth it.
Mind you...I've only got fifteen years to go for my retirement so on second thoughts you may have a point!!! :hmm: lol

It is truely is a massive Mod. We know it has taken a frightning amount of time and hard work on the side of the dev team who have some how manged to make this beast in there spare time. After testing for the last few weeks for some times 10hrs at a time i can say i have only seen about 5% of GWX most likely not even that As we heard in BBW post above the work continues this is going to massive. Take a Bow guys
