Default They call it backwards compatibility

Can i port my VIII and IX type Submarines to the SH IV/data/sea/Japanese Folder, and use them against the Americans?
Can i port over the BF 109 Plane and the German Torpedoes too? Can i replace the japanese Voice(OGG) files with the german ones so i DO understand a damn thing?

Kriegsm, arine in the Pacific, merged game japanese Submarines in the mediterranean, Pearl Harbor in Scapa flow... can i have that`?:hmm:

aaah im dreaming... taking on a British task force in the Indian, VAL Bombers hitting the Prince of wales, betty Bombers dropping 1000 pound bombs, Jap Torpedo Bombers attacking...

and i am there to finish her off in my IXB with a few good old german electric torpedoes

Default

They have already said that the engine is being upgraded and SHIII will not be compatible. It may be possible to transfer ships, but it seems to be doubtful.

There are no Japanese voices or subs, only American. If, however, the files are still .ogg (and why wouldn't they be) then it should be no problem to swap voice files.
