My God Seth just how do you read that? Just kidding. I believe Babel Fish can transplate to English.

Here is the german review translated with babel fish (easily edited..):
Approx.. 200 s/w illustrations. German submarines in Norwegian waters are to find rarely an article in the literature over the Second World War. In the naval warfare of the Germans against the British the occupation of Norway did not have a strategic meaning which can be underestimated. As retreat place and habitat of the submarine crews going from here on enemy travel, however it came so far hardly into the view. In the available book an author examines for the first time not only the military-historical aspects of the topic - the operation "Weser exercise", the employment of German submarines against the Murmansk Geleitzuege in the polar sea and the submarine war in the last war year - but deals also with the socialhistorical questions. What did the crew members do in their spare time , how did their life look? The Protagonisten from at that time tells of dear stories in the foreigner, of ski holidays, films, favourite actresses and music hits. Are lit up also their meeting with field clergyman and judges of the war navy, the defeat and the heavy way into the shank.
Wierd translation, but you get the point guys.

Yeah, I know he and few others are over in that neck of the woods. Just seeing other written languages other than English just boggles my mind.
