Default Let's play a game of 6 degrees of separation...

and see if any of you can connect Silent Hunter 3 to Total Annihilation.

And this isn't just a silly game. I have a good reason. And those that know the answer before its asked might know whether its fair to answer. That'll be clearer when this is done.

Let the games begin!

Got no idea. You mean TA as a game or just a word describing something. IF you mean the game, I'm blank, but if yo mean a word, the my connection of SH3 and TA is my modded U-Boat U-26 from Hell and 300 Allie ships taking a beating from my boat!

I do mean that glorious game. But no you haven't found what I'm looking for. I'm thinking of a direct tangible link.

1. Silent Hunter III is played by P_Funk at SubSim.
2. P_Funk at SubSim suggested Total Annihilation as the subject of a 6 Degrees of Seperation.

DONE!

Very cute.

Alright it's hint time. I'll give you an entire degree! It involves the Grey Wolves mod.

Nope. Though they do.

Apparently Chris Taylor is quite the WW2 Naval enthusiast. Particularly the Pacific Theatre.

Keep trying.

HIJACK:

Does anyone know where to get TA from these days, seeing as Cavedog have gone bust many moons ago. I've had my peepers open for the Commanders Edition multi-disk set, but with no luck.
aaah.. Total Annihilation... halcyon days - my first tentative steps into the world of computers.

Does it have anything to do with a rumour I heard about TA (the original with robots not that 'kingdoms' crap) being remade in glorious 3 dimensions...?
