Transferring career file--how do I do it

I bought a new laptop. PC Mover is $hit--does not work at all. So I purchased an external hardrive onto which I transferred all my important files. My question--how do I transfer the necessary files to preseve saved campaigns. I copied the campaign folder, but when I start SHIII on my new machine, the data does not come up. Any help?
I would like to be able to close this out tonight, so I can take down my old machine. I would really appreciate any help ASAP. Thanks.

Make sure you copy and move the SH3 folder in My Documents. That's where most of that information is located.

Sorry I didn't get back to you that second time. I'd missed the post and hadn't realized you needed clarification.
