i have a simple request here...

i hear about 1001 different mods and biggest expansions ever heard..
myself enjoys from the gwx mod..
but theres more to look at..
but if i install all that stuff my compy is going to slap me around my room..
so my question is :

-with the gwx mod do the other mods/packs give trubles when u install them?
-I hear alot about the smokemod but i cant find it anywhere and if there is one.. wish is the best one?

- i see some ppl with amazing graphics.. hhow can that be cuz im running with an buffed up gt7950gt card playing sh3 on its everymaximum wouldn't be a problem..is there a mod that activate stuff like antialising?

whats for me the best: i want awesome graphics the best sounds and the best special effects..

so i ask to the customers who have them.. what is the best expansion and what is the best mod.. and why is it the best mod

Seriously, this is not a easy answer and perhaps this is not the best way to find what you want. All big mods are very good for what you want and at same time all big mods don't have all the mods that you will want for sure.

This community is very creative and all days we have new nice mods. What you need is play and play and then with time you will know what you really want from here or there.

Play and see by yourself. A lot of mods could be sometimes difficult to choice but at least you have choices!

Yep Rubini has hit the nail on the head.
All you need to do is play with each of the mods to find out which ones you like and which ones not. Everyone has different tastes. So one persons ultimate setup of many mods or supermod might be anothers persons nightmare of what the game should be. So just get out there and find out what is right for you. Lots of people may say that such and such a mod is great and is a must have but it might not be for you. So get out there and play as much as you can to find what you like. It is the only way. Enjoy

Just thought to ask, what you are trying to achieve, I dont think the question is fair as simply put, I know many people would be very pleased if GWX and NYGM were combined into one big mod. They are both superb at doing some different things.

I used to be a NYGM player, now I'm for GWX, I think GWX is doing well but lacks some AI and campaine features that NYGM has, however graphics wise I recon GWX has the edge on NYGM

I've actually seen a few threads on this forum where people have installed the latest NYGM and GWX, I have not tried it as yet but when asked none have said there is an issue.

NYGM and Tonnage War are the same thing. Did you mean War Ace Campaign?

Real U-Boat was the first supported supermod, and GWX and NYGM have both gone far beyond what was accomplished at that time. People who use NYGM are vastly enthusiastic and like it the best. People who use GWX are also vastly enthusiastic and like IT the best.

You need to see for yourself.

@rascal101: I think you'll find that people "using both" are actually using them in separate installs, not as a combined game. Those who have tried loading one on top of the other have ended up with no game at all, and having to re-install SHIII.

some of the skins show up better without changing your graphics I think
by way of example the Iowa class battleship seems to standout in screenies
in more ways than its imposing size!

I have a favorite base mod it was sh3worlds3 but is now GWX but I also have
other mods I like to use besides the main super mod ie additional ships.
when I come across something I want that isnt out there I pester everybody
into getting me to shut up by giving me what I needl:rotflsorry mark)

i just want to know from costumers what they like..
cuz to me the only mod i iver heard of was gwx..thats the one i got..
not that i like it that much.. to me theres not a huge difference between original..and gwx.. but thenagain i almost never played it..
sh3 rocks.. i think its even going to overpower the 4th one..
but i drive away from the subject..
what i wanted is to know and to see what other ppl like..
cuz like you guys say.. it may not fair to de modders but when someone says gwx is moronic.. thay know theirs something to work at..
well.. then theres notthing to add..then just try and find out for myself.. when i have to reinstall this game u get the bill :P

Hi, I don't think anyone here is offended, Rubini has the best advice for this situation and that is to play and play, try all versions WAC, NYGM, GWX etc. and then over time you will discover what is to your taste.

well to be honest i have gwx now..and im going to install the modpack from war ace compain.. their lists of mod is impressive.. just look what u need only to run it.. marvelous..

I think GWX is the best mod out there in every aspect, but that's of course just my opinion. I do believe people should try everything and see which mod is better for their style of play.

i hope they use the same fileextensions in SHIV AS IN 3.. so we can modd on

a complete new engine and all..

You left one out of the list to choose from, Uboat War Ace Campaign 2.0(the poor little forgotten Supermod),besides having to choose "Other" for it(UBWA deserves better) I would have picked this mod, since it is my favorite, GWX takes a very very close 2nd place choice. So I did not vote.
