upgrades?

Is there a screen to upgrade your boat with new equipment while in port? I cant seem to find it if there is one.

Simply...yes.

Speak to the spotty little oik to the left of the commander(the one who you get your missions from).
Choose the upgrades for your uboat and also choose your torpedo loadout.
