CTD - moving from 6_6_0 to 6_7_0

Greetings ... and need much help.

Here is my scenario

PreMod List 6_6_0 version - working Model
Magnum_Opus_v0_0_1 + patch
Original map colors
nVidia missing lights
Shadow Improvement Mod

Post Conversion ... 6_7
Results ... at premilary screen .. whether to load , start or continue campaign
screen .. Popup windows prompts .. whether to Save or Discard nav markers , destroyed marks , journels.
I cannot get around that screen prompts. If i simply load from previous saved files.. loads till
death .. CTD

I backup out using JSGME ... to previous version .. was able to load and
restart game at 6_6_0 version..

i'm baffled at this point ...

Hi, if you are loading an save game form an current patrol, your game crashes because the new "Snorkel" feature from the new UI 6.7.0!

NOTE: If you enable a mod and it overwrites this mod's Uboot_Sensors.GR2 and/or Uboot_Sensors.sim and/or Uboot_Sensors.fx and that mod isn't my FX_Update then you will likely CTD sometime in game

Modified Ubooat_Sensors.sim file for Repaired_Equipment_MOD_by_Xrundel_TheBeast" (R.E.M) Version 1.2
mod (this file has to be installed in the Repaired_Equipment_MOD_by_Xrundel_TheBeast" (R.E.M) Version 1.2
mod in \data\Objects\Sensors and the Repaired_Equipment_MOD_by_Xrundel_TheBeast" (R.E.M) Version 1.2
mod HAS to be installed last in JSGME). This modified file makes it compatible with v6.7.0 of my UIs mod and FX_Update v0.0.18: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QTF15E42


You will see you need the uboat_sensors.sim for REM.

Same happened to me exactly, have reverted to previous version 6.6 now as I dont want to lose my progress in any way.

Recap ..

Before enabling Mods .. to 6_7_0

1st Modified sub.sns file and comment out - Snorkel entry .. 004

2nd Do not enable REM_Xrundel_TheBeast Mod

3rd Enable UBoot_Sensors.sim

That was for Art2war. Are you also CTD while in patrol? You can wait to update until back at base and that should work for ya

When I load from previous save the load just stop and nothing is happening. Also when I start a new campaign with uboot VIIA there is snorkel in the middle of conning tower.

When I load in patrol game CTD but when I load in base it seems ok except this snorkel witch is in the middle of conning tower. I have tried this method with uboat_sensors.sim for REM. and it aint help.

Do you CTD after starting in base then saving game on patrol? Or are you trying load a saved game that was saved before you updated your UI?. The method I posted with R.E.M is just a fix for R.E.M if you use R.E.M. I posted that because the orignal poster had his mod list and REM was in it.

It seems all my woes are coming from still being on patrol .

My plan of action shall be after returning to base ..


Modify My Sub's sub.sns file comment out - Snorkel feature.
Enable 6_7_0 Mods.
Start game check results ... seeing if Uboot_Sensor.sms is affecting game.
Last result .. continue with 6_7_0 version but remove R.E.M - Mod
