Default Weirdness

On the SH4 board is a poll by Steed labelled "Deck Gun". It currently (August 9, 4:07 PM [my time]) says that the last comment was by me, dated 8/9/07, time 3:50 PM, seventeen minutes ago.

Now look at this: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...0&postcount=34

I posted that comment yesterday, 8/8/07 at 3:50 PM. It says I did it today, almost 24 hours later. I'm confused.

That reminds me, I think I left the Subsim Time Dispersal Warp Generator plugged in and running....

Allow me to get out my shovel, dig this thread up and clarify.

Everytime someone votes in one of those &^%#$@# polls it bumps the thread to the top.... even if there are no new posts. Annoyed the hell out of me until I figured it out.

Damn... I hate polls.

I should start a poll to see who agrees with me.

:rotfl:

Two weeks after an answer is posted, I realized I never looked at the thread again. I was getting frustrated that other posts keep jumping to the top, and thinking something is seriously wrong, when I just happened to look over this board and recognize the thread.

Thanks, John; that explains a lot.
