Default Top Ten Subsim Events of the 2000's

A decade has come and gone, the first of the new millennium. The 2000's started with the Y2K panic, the loss of the space shuttle Columbia, saw a terrifying hurricane and even more apocalyptic tsunami. The US weathered a startlingly close presidential election, suffered the worst attack on its soil in 2001, went after the terrorists in Afghanistan and brought down a dictator in Iraq. The New England Patriots won 3 Super Bowls, the Euro outperformed the dollar, and the world economy teetered on the brink of collapse. Ronald Regan died, Michael Jackson died, the Vice-President shot a friend, and America elected its first black President (ok, half-black). All these events changed world. Following is a list of the top ten events of the Subsim world. Some were achievements, some were tragedies, and some are historical events.

Top Ten Subsim Events of the 2000's

Did we ever get the gouge on what *really* happened with the servers. When you mention FBI and seizure I gets interested.

Wow. A trip down memory lane. A lot to look back and, with the exception of the infamous fire, smile on. Thanks for a great decade, Neal. Here's to next, my friend.

It's a nice reading... a little trip through Subsim's history... 10 years, well, let's hope we get another 10, don't you think?

Thanks for creating it Neal, and everyone else, for keeping this place alive as a dependable place where I can look for lots of stuff.

Cheers!

Default Archive for Captain Zeb Alford

Hi Neal,
How are you? It was so wonderful of you and the other friends of dad to attend the Arlington Cemetery service for dad last November. I was wondering if you could provide a link to all the comments that were posted on dad's page on subsim starting back in August 2009? I wasn't sure if they were archived, i can't seem to find them. I can find some that were provided in December 2009, but can't follow the thread back to August when most were posted.

Thanks and hope all is well with you.
