Down periscope

Is there a way to lower the pericscope without having to hold the lever the whole way.......and is there another way to access the observation periscope other than the control room....thanx...Rick

Ctrl and page down i think
Obs scope is O on the keyboard..unless re-mapped

I'm using a laptop and these work for me.

Raise observation scope with "Ins" key
Lower Observation scope with "Del" key

Raise attack scope with "PgUp" key
Lower attack scope with "PgDn" key

You can raise and lower completely by pressing "Ctrl" + "Ins" or "Ctrl" + "Del" or "Ctrl" + "PgUp" or "Ctrl" + "PgDn"

If you press "F1" during the game you'll see most all the commands.

Insert and Delete controls one scope.
Page Up and Page Down controls the other.

Pressing Control while pressing one of the buttons moves the periscope all the way up or down.

I hope that helps. It made things incredibly more useful for me.

On the Observation scope screen, just click on the lever to down periscope

yes...but is there a way to just click it once without having to hold it to lower the scope?

If you use set keys, you can have the scopes raise when you go use the f3 and O keys; and you can have the scopes lower when you hit the D or C keys.

There is a way you can set the commands to operate voice-controlled. One day I'm going to try that; it'll be so cool to voice 'crash dive!' and hear the crew scream out 'alarm' as down we go!
