Is there only one external view mode in SHIII and do you have to keep chasing your ship to keep it in sight (short of bringing her to a stop i mean)?

also the > key, it only tracks "alive" ships in sensor range, not destroyed ships or torpedoes

The external view needs some work anyhow. Like following specific objects, showing where they are, tracking objects, fly-by mode, follow projectile mode, and maybe some sort of cinematic thing which focuses on the action.
