I just started playing with GW and NYGM and was wondering if the campaign changes in thease two mods are roughly the same or is there is a big difference between them compared to the stock game.Good Hunting!

One major difference is the way destroyer patrols are handled.
In Grey Wolves, as in the stock game, they are scripted, endlessly looping through the same patrol pattern of waypoint. In NYGM, however, they are realistically portrayed by means of Randomly Generated Groups. They are randomly spawned at one port and proceed through a set of waypoints to another port. I by far prefer that system and hope GWX will adopt it, although I suppose the odds for that are fairly low. Another major difference is that come GWX, an add-on called Norwegian Operations will add a set of Norwegian Operations to the Norwegian peninsula and the surrounding area. The guy behind the project is genius and the ex-pack is most likely going to kick major ass.
