No ship names in SH3 commander

Well the above says it all really but I dont get any ship names even in the end patrol log
And yes the option is enabled

using 2.4 BTW cos at the moment I have to

Have you created a Personnel File for the said Kaleun? This is when SH3Cmdr updates the ship names.

Are you clicking on the blue patrol number on the Kaluen page to open the file showing the ship names/dates/class/tonage?

Started a new career and made personnel file and that one had names in it
Original career now say I/O error

Do you want to email me (to jonesoft at internode dot on dot net) the career files and I'll have a look. Usually this is related to added read only attributes or file permission problems..
