I was just remembering how much I loved the 688(I) interface that's remained consistent throughout all three of Sonalyst's subsims. Everything about it is perfect in my mind. Sure, it might look a little cartoony at first, but within 30 minutes of installing 688(I) I knew right away what every button did. The only thing I miss are those "are you really sure you want to do that?!" flip covers on the Fire buttons and the active sonar transmit button. I use to fiddle with those things during really tense moments.
![]() The Seawolf interface still frustrates me. It's just too futuristic and cluttered for it's own good. All those drop-down menus in the sonar station, and that damn KONK! every time you click something... ![]() |
