Default Unknown light on the sky?!

When DD start looking for me, I saw very interesting lights on the sky. What is about, is this a flare or something like that but don't fall? For me it's look like something I see in the "Half Life II" for example. I use wonderful GW mod 1.1

Those are not UFO's, those are Starshells fired by the DD's to illuminate the seas so they can see you better.

You can fire these too, you know :hmm:

They do fall, but the flares are attached to parachutes so they fall very slowly, illuminating the surface of the ocean for quite a while.

If you happen to see those in the sky again I advise you strongly not to surface and see if you can get a better looksy. Dont even try to shoot them down! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well technically it was a UFO for Poor Sailor since to him it was an unidentified flying object..well before he came to our warm knowledgeable bosom for guidance. Oh the pains of new Kaleuns sailing the turbulent waters of SH3.

Star shells are also good for finishing off wounded merchants, and lighting up a night launch to make your mission's departure all that more of a spectacle.
