"They lay at the bottom all day watching swimmers and fishermen through their periscopes."

How come this isn't modeled in SH3? :rotfl:

"Captain's Log, Day 40, off Daytona Beach: First Officer Hagenau suggested we shift our patrol grounds to a more target-rich environment because we have been here for more than three weeks and not seen any merchants. I ordered him to make an observation through the periscope and asked him if there were not enough targets in view. He admitted the beach did seem to present certain opportunities not found in the busier shipping lanes, but seemed distressed that they might distract us from our grand mission for the Fatherland. I believe I may have to shoot him."

You could sink a passenger lilo. Very shallow depth contact pistol, or magnetic if they're wearing a watch.

:hmm:

Maybe this is due to exposure to high pressure. Maybe that fellow crash-dived to deep! :rotfl:
