Well, your pc is a monster, no problem there. Download grey wolves, it looks really good. And also get the relolution fix, so you kan go for ... say 1600x1200 with lots of eyecandy.

There is probably some way to get antialiasing too, but I dont know how.

Your computer blew up?How did that happen?
Anyway...on topic now...you can't really have both realism and graphix at the max in one mod ,you will have to choose between them. There are 2 very popular mods currently on subsim :NYGM TW and GW.They both offer interesting improvements and more features then the stock game, but they are quite different.NYGM focuses more on realism and gameplay, whereas GW focuses more on the effects part. But as i said in another thread, you should try them both and see which one you like best .

I really like parts of both the major mods and the Longer U-Boat repair time mod.

Then there are parts of all of these that I don't much care for.

So I am building my own personal mod out of spare parts of all the mods from back to day 1 to present and so far I am thoroughly enjoying the sim more than ever. Not to mention learning a whole lot about how the various file work together.

In short you can make this sim into pretty much whatever suits your fancy.

TUT TUT GW is sooooo much more than just eye candy
Realism is in the eye of the beholder and down to everyones own interpretation but GW ups the realism from the stock in a big way as well as adding better gameplay not forgetting all the eye candy improvements too
