Default Sinking of CV-66

Last year the USN went to a lot of time and effort on weapons trials to sink CV-66.Does anybody have any footage so that I can wind -up some skimmers?

America was sunk alright, but given the highly secret nature of the sinking exercise, we're not going to be seeing any footage released for a very long time, possibly decades.

This is the only pic I know of that the USN released of the sinking, due to the security concerns.

There's also a political factor - Imagine papers coming out with the headline "AMERICA SUNK!" and a dramatic picture of a carrier exploding...

Plus, a video like that would surely get attached to an email, and I can just imagine how some idiots might twist it into being an Iraq war occurence or something...

More like the new version of the USS Houston doing the emergency blow...

More like F9F crashes into aircraft carrier, causing it to sink, which scares a submarine out of the water, blowing up a house in the middle of desert.

No blowing up a RA-5 Vigilante with an airburst out in the desert.
