Sailors and qualifications

Will my sailors gain qualifications by them self? If i move the sailors around a lot will that make em gain qualification in area much slover then if i use the same guys on the same job all the time?

Any way to set the crew selection to auto so rested crew will take over for tired sailors when needed? As it is now i pretty much do it manuel of use the preset options.

In a word, no. At the end of each patrol you will be allowed to hand out one qualification. SHIII Commander lets you award more, but that's one of its features I never use.

No again. You have to rotate crew manually. There are several mods which make it so fatigue works more realistically, based on the modder's view of 'realism'. There is also one which removes fatigue altogether.

Again, the easiest way to get these is to use SHIII Commander.

Yep. At the end of the patrol you go to 'Personel Files' and give out badges, medals and quals all from the same screen. It's the same barracks screen you recruit from at the beginning.
