Default A little consideration can go a long way

Most of people i've contacted about their mod or mods have truly been great but on occasion, even from the 1st question,they act like its a burden to answer a question ! Not all of us are computer brains ! Out of respect for this forum i will hold onto my real thoughts & words

You just have to understand and have patience with some, a lot would have RL commitments such as a job, family, etc and after 50 even 100's of PM's with various mods wears them down, sometimes to breaking point! Jaesen had soooo many contacts over his SH3 Commander that he took it off his download site, the calls were just taking too much of his life away and literally tearing his hair out!
This may give you a better idea of why some get huffy! I know of quite a few, some have even left Subsim, most unfortunate!
We all just have to have some patience & understanding.

I am not a modder & sometimes I get frustrated when
I can't find something.

When I get frustrated I remember that this forum is
the best in the world (I think) and our modders are the
best in the world (I know).

With time good things just keep coming....

I'll second that. Most people that I've "spoken" to here are very helpful & considerate. Some of the message boards that I've been a part of in the past were pretty nasty; populated by idiots who think that, just because they're not speaking face-to-face with you, they can be as rotten as they want.

I actually find that I'm nicer when I'm typing to people than how I am in person.:hmm:

Well I know I for one can be a grumpy bastard and/or short with people sometimes when they ask me questions about a mod, especially when the question is answered on post#1 or in the readme. Sorry, but the consideration thing works both ways. Anyway, fortunately there's a good community here, as you know, THG - I remember OLC GUI started pretty much "supporting itself" after a while - so even when a modder gets arsey, someone else will likely be feeling more helpful.

@Reece, well said.
