I just patched this game to 1.4b after a hiatus, and now during the game, some of the sounds keeps cutting in and out. It's noticable when the music just stops, along with the ambient sounds (cabin noise, stopwatch ticking) and occasionally the voices stop too. I can hear explosions and the engines no problem. Sometimes it comes back on it's own, sometimes i have to save, turn music off and on again to get it to come back. Never had this problem with previous patches. I am not running any mods, this is only my 2nd patrol in a new career.
Anyone else had this issue? |

hmmm
I had problems with sound before. What I did was to use the creative labs drivers instead of the windows driver (SB Live 5.1 Value). I also completely turned off hardware acceleration at the control panel --> Sound --> Advanced --> Performance ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

All drivers are updated from the mfg (ASUS). |

Try setting hardware acceleration at the control panel --> Sound --> Advanced --> to *basic*

Sir! What was that noise? ![]() Ironically the Shorts Sunderland is code letter U of No. 461 Squadron, and the submarine is U-461. |
