hi,
I use SH3, RUB 1.45 and HT 1.47 - and i have just got the opportunity to install the first radar detector. This is new to me (in the game!) as i use a vitual dice webpage to roll my career parameters to decided which flotiila, boat type and year to start my career in (working on the principle that the U-boat Commander had no choice on when he was born! and where BDU decided to station him) and this is the first time i've started later than '41. My question is, how do i receive warnings within the game, that radar emissions have been detected? and also do i need to "turn the thing on" or is in on constantly when sticking up out of the conning tower? Thanks in advance Kaleun |

As long as you have a man at the radio station , he will warn you if a foe "light" you up with his radar .
Nothing to turn on or off . It is a passive device . Cheers .

As long as you have man stationing the radioroom or the hydrophone station (cant remember which one) it is on. No need to turn it on.
