The Other Flotillas

Hi all

I’m not sure if this has come up before, but I’ve noticed that the times I have played in career mode, only about half of the 15 combat flotillas become available. Are there any special requirements that you have to achieve before you can get to the others? Obviously from an historical point of view most of bases only come into the game as the war progresses.

But I mean has anyone been sent to Trondheim (13th Flotilla), Narvik (14th Flotilla), Konstanza (30th Flotilla) or Flensburg (33rd Flotilla). La Spezia is the only Mediterranean one I’ve been to.

Incidentally, I notice that Narvik (14th Flotilla) doesn’t fit into any quadrant in fact there are none further north than AD, AE and AF. Is it something to do with the cold or did U-boats actually operate that far north?
