Someone could appoint some huntting grounds?

I'm in December of 44, and Bdu grant me a Type XXI to do some shakedown patrol's. I'm know near the cost of Ireland and I don't see any planes and no messages of convoy's.
I would like to try out this new type so were are the convoy's in the end of 1944. I'm thinking in going to the middle of the north atlantic to do some shearch.
