"Base changed to Wilhelmshaven" message when loadi

I only just moved to Lorient. When I loaded my 10th patrol I got the message "Base changed to Wilhelmshaven" flashing on the screen (waits for me to hit OK) before the game loaded.

Took a number of real days to finish this patrol, saving after each evening/day of playing. Each time I loaded the saved game I also got that same "Base changed to Wilhelmshaven" message.

I got the impression that I should go to Wilhelmshaven, instead of returning to Lorient (I had missed the instructions to sail to Lorient previously), so I did.

Well, my next patrol shows as patrol area null, I have to sail to Lorient and I can't buy upgrades etc. in WIlhelmshaven.

What the heck is going on here? Is this a known bug? Why am I being told my base changed to Wilhelmshaven, then I go there to find out I am in the wrong port?

I'm getting the same. It seems to be a bug - just ignore the message. Your Kapitan's log ('K') shows the true base you need to return to.
